The Higher Council for Scientific Research is the owner of the subdomain bcbcsic.uv.es. The CSIC informs you that access and use of the website bcbcsic.uv.es and directories included under it (hereinafter, jointly referred to as the Portal) are subject to the terms detailed in this Legal Notice, without prejudice to the fact that access to any of said services or content may require the acceptance of additional General Conditions.
The CSIC reserves the right to make changes to the Portal without prior notice, in order to update, correct, modify, add or eliminate the contents or design. Because the information is not updated immediately, we suggest that you always check the validity and accuracy of the information, services and content presented. Likewise, the conditions and terms included in this Notice may vary, so we invite you to review these terms when you visit the Portal again.
The CSIC is not responsible for any damages that may be caused by the use of the tools and information contained in the Portal in relation to the adoption of decisions on the initiation, development or result of administrative procedures. Such decisions must be verified in the competent centres, organisations or agencies. In any case, the information and contents of this Website may not be alleged in contradictory processes with the Public Administration, assuming no responsibility for any discrepancies that may exist between the printed documents of the competent Administration and the electronic publication on these pages.

Privacy
The purpose of the automated collection and processing of personal data collected through this website is to manage the service requested by the user as well as to monitor queries raised. The legal basis of the treatment is the consent of the affected person and its need for the development of the public functions and missions of the CSIC, which is responsible for the treatment. It is not possible to predict the deletion periods, which will depend on the case and service requested.
In accordance with Organic Law 3/2018, of December 5, on the Protection of Personal Data and guarantee of digital rights (LOPDGDD), the General Data Protection Regulation (RGPD) and related legislation, the CSIC is committed to compliance of the obligation of secrecy with respect to personal data and the duty to treat them confidentially after carrying out the corresponding risk analysis, especially, in accordance with the first additional provision of the LOPDGDD, the corresponding security measures of those provided for in the National Security Scheme necessary to avoid its alteration, loss, treatment or unauthorised access.
The user may at any time exercise the rights of access, rectification, cancellation, opposition, limitation or portability by writing to the General Secretariat of the CSIC at the address C/Serrano 117, 28006 MADRID (Spain) accompanied by a photocopy of ID or by means of the CSIC Electronic Registry located at its Electronic Headquarters, for which you must have a recognised electronic certificate. The CSIC reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy to adapt it to new legislation, jurisprudence or interpretation of the Spanish Data Protection Agency. Applicable law and jurisdiction
The applicable law in the event of a dispute or conflict of interpretation of the terms that make up this Legal Notice, as well as any issue related to the services of this Portal, will be Spanish law.
For the resolution of any conflict that may arise during the visit to the Portal or the use of the services that may be offered therein, the CSIC and the User agree to submit to the Judges and Courts of the User’s domicile, provided that the same is located in Spanish territory.
