Detalle de: Single-cell and spatial omics

Title Single-cell and spatial omics
Description

Single-cell and spatial omics encompass a set of advanced technologies and analytical approaches that profile molecular features at cellular resolution while preserving tissue architecture. Single-cell omics characterize individual cells in isolation—capturing gene expression, chromatin accessibility, or protein abundance—whereas spatial omics retain the spatial context of cells within tissues, enabling localization of molecular patterns. Together, these approaches allow the dissection of cellular heterogeneity, spatial organization, and cell–cell interactions in complex tissues. Their integration is essential for understanding tissue function, tumor microenvironments, and disease progression, and for identifying context-dependent biomarkers and therapeutic targets in precision medicine.
