Currently, I work as a Bioinformatics Scientist at Dreamgenics, specializing in transcriptomics and multi-omics data analysis. My work focuses particularly on multimodal single-cell analysis, spatial transcriptomics, and the integration of bulk multi-omics datasets, using self-developed, reproducible, automated, and containerized workflows. Prior to this, I served as technical lead at the Bioinformatics Facility at CABIMER, where I carried out a wide range of bioinformatics analyses across both standard and non-standard sequencing technologies, including Fork-seq (long-read sequencing) and MeRIP-seq (m6A RNA methylation profiling). As part of this work, I developed and maintained Docker-based analysis pipelines. In addition, I supported researchers in the use of the facility's computing infrastructure. Before transitioning fully into bioinformatics, I completed my PhD, combining molecular biology and bioinformatics to investigate biological questions through the integrated analysis of datasets generated across diverse experimental platforms in both yeast and human cells. This experience provided me with a strong experimental background and a deep understanding of how computational analyses connect with the underlying biology. Earlier, during my Master's degree, I investigated the relationship between co-expression domains and chromatin organization. This work strengthened my proficiency in R and Linux and provided extensive experience in NGS data analysis, particularly RNA-seq, ChIP-seq, and Hi-C.
