Biography
|
M. Eloisa Andújar Pulido is a biologist and holds a PhD in Biology from the University of Seville, with more than 25 years of experience in biomedical research and genomics. After completing her doctoral and postdoctoral training in genetics, molecular biology, and developmental biology, she led the establishment and growth of the Genomics Unit at CABIMER, where she has served as a senior specialist within the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) since 2007. Throughout her career, she has driven the implementation of advanced genomic technologies, ranging from microarrays to next-generation sequencing (NGS) and, more recently, single-cell genomics, transforming the unit into a leading platform supporting biomedical research. Her work combines scientific and technical leadership, research infrastructure management, project consulting, training of specialized personnel, and collaboration in national and international research initiatives. She has co-authored numerous high-impact scientific publications in genomics, epigenetics, immunology, and single-cell multi-omics, while contributing to the development of key genomic resources and infrastructures supporting the Spanish scientific community. She has been a member of the research groups EGEBIM - BIO204 (Gene Expression in Bacteria of Environmental Interest) and BIO102 (Genome Instability and Cancer, University of Seville). |
