Eduardo González Grandío
Plant bio-factories as a sustainable source of high-value compounds · CNB
Biography
|
Broadly trained PhD in Plant Molecular Genetics with more than 10 years of experience. Utilizing molecular biology, high-throughput sequencing and bioinformatic approaches, I have studied how external cues affect plant gene regulatory networks and their developmental responses. I am also interested in the biotechnological applications of my research results. I have participated in the development of a carbon nanotube-based delivery system that will allow genome engineering of currently unmodifiable plant species. My current project focuses on generating new Plant Synthetic Biology tools to accelerate crop improvement and facilitate molecular farming. Technical expertise: molecular biology, plant genetics, biochemistry and bioinformatics. |
