Researcher in bioinformatics and data science applied to multi-omics studies, specialised in metatranscriptomics, transcriptomics and human microbiome analysis. PhD candidate at the Universidad de Granada, supervised by Signe Ältmäe and Eduardo Andrés León, investigating the interaction between the microbiome and the host through integrative approaches. His work focuses on characterising the abundance, expression and function of microorganisms in different regions of the body, and their relationship with human biological and metabolic processes. Member of the Human Reproduction Group (Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology I, UGR), where he applies advanced analysis methodologies to real omics data, contributing to projects with an impact on reproductive health. Experience in developing bioinformatics pipelines in Linux and HPC (Slurm) environments, and in the statistical analysis and modelling of complex data with R and Python. He works regularly with RNA-seq and metatranscriptomics data, integrating functional analysis, advanced statistics and machine learning techniques.
