Irene María Puyó Iguaz
Biography

Pharmacy and Bioinformatics graduate (Universidad San Jorge) with research experience in both national and international environments (KU Leuven, CSIC). My profile combines experimental biology (electrophysiology, RNA microinjection, microscopy, cell culture) with bioinformatics analysis (omics data analysis, phylogenetics, and AI-based structural modelling). I have completed internships in both community and hospital pharmacy, and I was a research fellow in the PACMI Group (Individualized Medicine Quality Assurance Programme, Universidad San Jorge), where I participated in pharmaceutical formulation testing, quality control, and QA-related activities. At the EEAD-CSIC, I collaborated with the Computational and Structural Biology research group within my Final Degree Project in Bioinformatics, in cooperation with the Universidad Nacional de Río Cuarto (Argentina).
