I am a physicist with strong vocation for medical sciences. Understanding how biological systems work is one of the topics that has fascinated me the most. My research interests have led me to work in different areas such as pathology analysis in neonatal brain imaging, validation of anti-vascular treatments in tumor pathologies using optical imaging, simulation of protein-membrane interaction, evaluation of biomechanics in ocular imaging for myopia control and treatment. My research fields are Biophysics, Bioengineering, Biomedicine, and Machine Learning applied to cell image analysis. Staff Investigator at the IIBM (UAM-CSIC) since December 2024. Previously predoctoral researcher at the Instituto de Óptica "Daza de Valdés" (IO-CSIC, 2019-2025) and university lecturer at the Escuela Politécnica Nacional (2016-2018).
