PhD Researcher in Deep Learning, Genomics, and Precision Medicine at the Instituto de Parasitología y Biomedicina López-Neyra (IPBLN) since December 2024. Developed and applied machine learning and deep learning models for the analysis of large-scale genomic and transcriptomic datasets in cancer research, designing bioinformatics pipelines for preprocessing, normalization, and integration of high-dimensional RNA-seq data. Implemented feature selection strategies and statistical learning methods to identify predictive gene signatures associated with cancer progression, and worked on multimodal learning approaches combining gene expression data with histopathological image analysis for cancer classification. Applied interpretable machine learning techniques to improve biological insight and model transparency, while collaborating in interdisciplinary research projects involving computational biology, oncology, and data science. Previously flow cytometry technician and animal facility technician at the IPBLN (2023-2024).
