PhD candidate in Biomedical Engineering with a focus on unraveling the complex mechanisms behind Atrial Fibrillation. My research combines Bioinformatics and Artificial Intelligence to lay the groundwork for future personalized treatments. My current work at IIBB-CSIC involves developing a Deep Learning pipeline for the cellular-level analysis of fluorescence microscopy images. To bridge these findings to clinical relevance, I also leverage large-scale population data from resources like the UK Biobank to validate how specific genetic combinations impact cardiac health. Proficient in Python (PyTorch, Scikit-learn), R (Seurat, Bioconductor), and Linux environments for computational biology and data science.
