Title Holistic phenotyping of evolutive/adaptive features in Fish Farming. Gilthead Sea Bream Holobiont: from Pangenome to Metagenome
Description

BreamHOLOBIONT aims to enhance the sustainability and resilience of aquaculture facing climate change by understanding how genetic diversity and phenotypic plasticity in gilthead sea bream contribute to thermal tolerance and animal welfare. By integrating omics technologies and a holobiont perspective, the project seeks to generate knowledge that can be rapidly transferred to the industry to support more ethical and efficient fish farming.
