| Title | SynCell-nExUs: SynCellEU programme for recruiting next generation European leaders in Synthetic Cell research |
| Description |
Synthetic cells – artificially constructed systems that mimic the behaviour of living cells – represent one of the most exciting frontiers in modern biology, with far-reaching implications for medicine, biotechnology and fundamental understanding of life. With the support of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions programme, the SynCell-nExUs project aims to train 40 postdoctoral researchers across four interconnected research themes: metabolism and energy, division and replication, information processing and evolution, and enabling technologies. With 22 participating research organisations across Europe, the programme supports the SynCellEU initiative, a pan-European network dedicated to the development of synthetic cells. |
