Detalle de: The hidden geometry of electrostatic pollination

Title The hidden geometry of electrostatic pollination
Abstract

This repository contains the data supporting the manuscript "The hidden geometry of electrostatic pollination". The dataset includes experimental measurements and numerical simulation outputs used to investigate how pollinator setal morphology influences electrostatic charge accumulation and electric field during pollination. Specifically, the repository contains: Measurements of electrostatic charge carried by free-flying Australian native stingless bees (Tetragonula carbonaria sp.) under field conditions Charge.xlsx MATLAB scripts implementing Sierpinski-like fractal scaling to generate and numerically analyse spinulate, pectinate, and plumose-like setal morphologies. spinulate_seta_electrostatics_model.m pectinate_seta_electrostatics_model.m plumose_seta_electrostatics_model.m Three-dimensional models representing a 1 mm2 thoracic setal area of T. carbonaria, A. mellifera and B. terrestris.
