Pablo Jiménez Barrios
Biography
|
Bioinformatician at INIA-CSIC (Madrid) since July 2023, specialized in single-cell RNA sequencing. His work covers the preparation and processing of biological samples, the construction of single-cell cDNA libraries with 10x Genomics, and the analysis of the data with Cell Ranger and Seurat (alignment, filtering, data integration, dimensionality reduction, identification and characterization of cell subpopulations, differential expression and functional enrichment), contributing to a better understanding of immune responses in teleost fish. Bachelor in Biotechnology at the University Pablo de Olavide and current secretary of the Asociación de Biotecnólogos de Andalucía (AsBAn). Previously, he was an intern in the Cell Biology department of the Centro Andaluz de Biología del Desarrollo (CABD) for three years and a research trainee at the Institute of Biomedicine of Seville (IBiS). |
