My name is Aime and I am a molecular biologist with more than a decade of experience in the field of plant science. Fascinated by plants and plant breedingPlant breeding encompasses my two professional passions: molecular biology and plants. After completing my PhD in Biological Sciences in Argentina, I did a postdoc in Switzerland. My passion has led me to my current position, where I am establishing a plant gene editing platform at the Centre for Research in Agricultural Genomics (CRAG) in Spain as part of the Momentum CSIC programme ("Develop Your Digital Talent"). Professional path
EducationPhD in General Biology (2014-2018) and MSc in General Biology (2008-2013), University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Originally from San Carlos de Bariloche (Patagonia), where she obtained a vocational high school diploma in business and computing. Digital and complementary competencesTraining in Python and R programming, machine learning, data science, big data and data analysis, Git and GitHub, prompt engineering and agentic AI for research; project management (PMP exam preparation, Basics of Project Management, University of Lausanne); plant tissue culture and genome engineering. Languages: Spanish (native), English (fluent), French (B1), Italian (A1). |
