Detalle de: New culture-independent methodologies for discovering symbiont bacteria of marine soft-bodied animals and their contribution to the chemical defense of their host

Title New culture-independent methodologies for discovering symbiont bacteria of marine soft-bodied animals and their contribution to the chemical defense of their host
Description

The Nudi-Symb project investigates how nudibranchs and their symbiotic bacteria produce bioactive compounds for defense. Advanced omics techniques are used to discover new bacterial lineages and biosynthetic gene clusters. This groundbreaking study will provide a deep understanding of microbial interactions in marine soft-bodied animals, with potential applications in microbiology, biotechnology and drug development.
